Q. How long is a quote or contract sent out is valid
A. Prices do not normally change from year to year but quotes are good for 7 days the same as a contract sent out to client, if not returned within 7 days plus a $ 50.00 deposit, I cannot guarantee that the date will be available as I do talk with couples every day of the week.
Q: How do I reserve you for my wedding day?
A: All dates are reserved once we receive your signed contract and 50% deposit. Price quotes and Contracts sent out are valid for 7 days.
Q: How do I set up an appointment to meet you in person and see some of your work?A:
Contact us at 401-487-8813 or email at tk53929@yahoo.com and we can set up a time to meet and show you my work.
Q. How long does it take to get my Photos and Video
A. I go over each photo and edit it, which takes time I use adobe lightroom and Photoshop for photos and Adobe Premiere Pro for video
during the winter months and early spring delivery is faster as I do not have many events on the weekends but as the wedding season goes full tilt
it is harder to edit everything in a timely manner and give you quality product.
Photos take 60 to 90 days from day of event to delivery and I send out a USB flash drive with all video packages
Video takes 90 to 120 days from day of event to delivery and I send out a USB flash drive with all video packages
When I leave a venue, I tell the clients I will contact them when everything is finished. but a lot of clients think that if they keep calling me, I will deliver
faster. that is not the case. I do one
Q. Can I get a sneak preview of my wedding day photos.
The answer is no, I would have to start going over the photos and pick out photos from your wedding day. this is time consuming. Some photographers do offer that, but that is always at a much higher price you pay, that is part of the higher cost you pay
Q: I have downtime between events on my wedding day. Will I be charged for that downtime?
A: For a variety of reasons, we have to charge for the time in between events. The fact is, we’re never truly resting during the day, whether we’re backing up images, setting up for the second venue, traveling to the second location, taking venue shots, or making up for lost photo time because of unforeseen wedding day delays.
Q: What happens if we go over the contracted amount of time?
A: We understand that not everything goes as planned during a wedding. We never pack up before the contracted time, and moreover, we’re not leaving on the dot when the contracted time is up. Instead, we will ask you at the end of your contracted time whether or not you would like to extend. If you would like us to stay, we will charge the rates specified in your contract rounded to the closest 30-minute increment
Q: Why do we need to charge for additional coverage?
A: We’ve dedicated the entire day to your wedding, so we won’t be racing off to catch other events that evening. However, we need to charge for additional coverage primarily because there are costs to stay for additional hours. The photography/videography team all require additional compensation..
Q: Can I negotiate pricing after I have signed contract
A. Sorry to say no, what price is on the contract is the payment for services. Yes I have had number of people try to get discounts and even
try to get my services for free. What I have on the website is a very fair price and I have done plenty of research on what the competitors prices that
are in the market.
Q. I heard that the photographer expects a meal during the reception if there are meals for guests
A. You should plan to feed any wedding professional who will be there with you at the reception.
This includes your photographer, videographer, DJ and band.
Q: Do you charge for Travel to event
A.: We only charge for travel if the event is over 100 miles from Warwick RI
Q: What about guests taking photos during the event.
A: We don't mind guests taking a couple of photos with their cell phones but not trying to capture the whole event. that is why we were hired to capture the event not to be in fighting with a guest for that photo or them showing up on video constantly in front of the camera. No guests walking around with camera''s taking lots of photos and angling us out of position.
Q: What is the lead time for us to receive photos and Videos
A: We quote 60 to 90 days on delivering photos and 90 to 120 days for delivering video. this is so that we can deliver the product at the highest quality
It takes time to edit photos for you, I go over every photo, not a select photos. it generally takes 1 to 10 minutes per photo in editing process.
Q: Do you deliver every image you shoot?
A: No, we do not. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery.
Q: Do you shoot in JPEG or Raw
A: We shoot all of our images in Raw which are in High Resolution and convert to JPEG in High Resolution in post production editing.
a Raw image you can work with in Lightroom and do changes, JPEG what you get is the finished product, you can not tweak JPEG images
Q: What size can we print our photos up to with our full resolution image download?
A: In most cases, I deliver at 1200 PSI, you can print your photos up to 20×30 without any quality loss.
Q: What rights do I have to the digital prints?
A: You have full print rights to reprint images whenever you want.
Q: How many images do you deliver for a wedding?
A: For a wedding , we typically deliver 50-100 images per hour of coverage. Keep in mind these numbers may increase or decrease depending on the flow of the day and the number guests and the number of events/activities needing to be captured.
Q. Do you shoot video in HD or 4K?
A. All Video shoot in 4K but delivered in HD.
Q: What style do you shoot for Video?
A: We normally shoot documentary style for events. if you want a story type of video for your wedding we will shoot with 2 videographers
Q. We want to have Red, Purple or Blue lighting at the Event
Normally with Photographing it is hard to get rid of the different colors to bring out the best image
With Video it is impossible to take out the colors to bring you the best video you want. I have did events where they had Red and Blue and impossible
to take these colors out of the video without damaging the quality of the video. I have been videographer at a half dozen events where they used red
or purple lighting the camera's cannot seen though the lights. the only want to take the different colors out is to unsaturate the video which makes it
black and white and distorted.
Q. How do you deliver images or video to client?
A. We deliver to client on a digital download link available for 2 years and a USB flash drive.
Q: What if I lose my images?
A: There is a $25 replacement charge for additional USB drives after the event has been archived for 2 years.
Q. What programs do you use to edit photographs and Video
A. We use Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photograph for editing Photographing and Adobe Premiere Pro for Video
